It’s been three weeks since our last update and I have made some progress on this project.
Here is where I left off last time:

And here is where I am now:

I am starting the crown but I have to tell you the monochromatic pallet is starting to get to me. I am pushing forward though!
Please visit the other blogs in the SAL to see what they are up to. You won’t be dissapointed!

You must be craving a wee change of colour but all your efforts are totally worth it. It’s looking great, so lifelike, I feel like those eyes could open up and look at me! Jenny x

Well done! This could become very tedious, but so worth the effort, maybe a tiny bright colored something on the side would be helpful when you need it?

Having a mini side project with some color sounds like a great idea. Your progress on this piece is stunning nonetheless.

It’s worth all the effort. Keep going but if you need a quick colour fix just try something small and quick to finish.

It is so worth the effort despite having to slog through some bits. I’m finding exactly that with the border on my sampler…just a little too much of it. But I do it to t.v. when I don’t have to pay too much attention.

Great progress there. A limited palette can be a bit tedious sometimes but it’s definitely worth persevering with this, although taking a wee break for a mini project might help.

Good luck with that minimal color palette! I couldn’t do this project even if I enjoyed cross stitch!
