SAL- Fraktur Hex #5

Good morning! It is a raining snowy mess here in Western NY but we are all warm inside dreaming of our Spring gardens.

I didn’t get a ton of work done on my Fraktur Hex. I have many large projects going including the SAL for Modern Folk Embroidery and one I created myself on my brand new computer program Winstitch.

Here is where I left off last update on Fraktur Hex:

And here is where I am now:

The border is going to be my nemesis.

Just for fun this is also what I am working on from Modern Folk Embroidery:

It’s going to be another huge project. The black 20ct aida is a killer though!

And here is the chart I have developed on my Winstitch program:

I know it’s ridiculously huge but this china pattern, Limoges Lyric was one of the first I ever sold in my Etsy Shop and can you imagine how gorgeous it will be when finished?

That’s it for me! Please visit the other stitchers in this group. Their links are at the bottom of this post. Can’t wait to see what everyone is up to! -MM

  1. Beautiful and interesting projects! Alphabets are a wonderful theme too. Wow, you have designed quite a beautiful piece. You are so right-it would be the most marvelous project to stitch. Wet snow falling here today in Ontario. Great stitching weather, πŸ™‚

  2. These are all fabulous. Beautiful stitching! The black is a challenge to work on. I can only imagine the challenging border on Fraktur Hex. It looks fantastic. Your Limoges Lyric is off to a lovely start.
