I am making huge progress in this series and I am happy to announce that I have learned to sew…on a real sewing machine so I can actually finish my own projects!
Last update I was stitching #4.
And here it is finished!
I also stitched #5
And here it is finished!
I am currently working on #6
I am having so much fun stitching and sewing all of these little ornaments!
Here are the five all done and ready to hang.
I used different patterns of fabric to finish the backs.
What do you all think?
Now off to see what the other ladies in the group are stitching! Links to their blogs below. Thank you, Avis, for organizing this Stitch-a-Long.
Welcome to my Blog! My world is my husband and son (soon to be moving into his own home) and my step-children (fully grown) and our two cats who are definitely ying and yang. My day job is as Deputy Clerk of my home town in Western, NY but when I get home I have two side gigs, one as a professional private baker, and two, as an Etsy shop owner selling vintage and antique dishes and accessories. I have been gardening and growing my own food since my grandfather taught me at the ripe old age of 5. I stitch, I bake, I grow food, I can and preserve, I grocery shop to save money and eat well and boy do I have massive to-do lists. I hope you enjoy my day to day writings.

Those all look super cute!! Well done!! Can see you’re having good fun, and great practice for sewing machine.
Yay for learning how to use your sewing machine! These’s are so cute. I went on etsy to try and find Brooke’sBooksStore but couldn’t find it 😦 Is that the right name?
Yes it is but unfortunately Brooke passed away of cancer and her husband was not left the legal rights to her business so he had to close the shop. So sad! I hope he can gain the rights soon because it would be a shame to let all of her beautiful designs fade away.
well done on your finishes, and how satisfying it must be, to have finished the pieces off as little ornaments yourself. You’ll find lots more use for you sewing machine ^^
