SAL-Girl in Lavendar Field 11

Well… I am almost done with Lavendar Girl, but not quite. By the next update, she will be finished and put together in a pillow and sent off. I can’t wait to show you that!

Here’s the before:

And here’s the after.

There are lots of little places on her to get finished, but probably only a couple of hours’ worth of work is left to do.

Next update will definitely be a happy dance!

That’s it for me this update. Time to hop to the other stitchers in our group!

Thank you, Avis, for organizing this Stitch-a-Long. Please visit the other blogs to see what other fabulous stitchy projects they are stitching. We are all working on different pieces!

Welcome to my Blog! My world is my husband and son (soon to be moving into his own home) and my step-children (fully grown) and our two cats who are definitely ying and yang. My day job is as Deputy Clerk of my home town in Western, NY but when I get home I have two side gigs, one as a professional private baker, and two, as an Etsy shop owner selling vintage and antique dishes and accessories. I have been gardening and growing my own food since my grandfather taught me at the ripe old age of 5. I stitch, I bake, I grow food, I can and preserve, I grocery shop to save money and eat well and boy do I have massive to-do lists. I hope you enjoy my day to day writings.

  2. So gorgeous! I love the look of her hair, her dress, and blossoms. There’s so much movement in the piece, and beautiful colors in the sky. Can’t wait to see the pillow next year! Enjoy the happy dance!!!
