I have been working on my SAL Onions and Gourds all through the fall and winter months. I have gotten a ton accomplished on it but it’s time to put it away for the spring and summer because I need something light and fun to work on.
Last time I showed you Spring House by Brooke Nolan.
Here is where I started three weeks ago:
And here is my progress after three weeks:
Not a lot done but my garden has been calling me more.
I am not alone in this SAL, not by a long shot. If you click on the below links you will see some very talented stitchers! If you are interested in joining our group please contact Avis, the first link in this group.
See you in three weeks and Happy Memorial Day to my US friends! -MM

It’s been close to 90 degrees here all week so I have been stitching on the porch at night to get out of the hot house š

I love the idea of a lighter project for summer — might switch around my next project myself!

It makes complete sense to leave the gourds and onions for fall and winter. I love anything to do with houses, this would be fun to work on any time of year!

I think this would be a great project to travel with. You can put it down, do something else, then pick it right back up and not be lost.

I think we all have the same problems when the sun is shining, the garden calls. A pretty little project and at least you made some progress.
