I started the last ornament and made some progress on it this week. Here it is:
You can start to see a teapot and teacup emerging.
The goal is to get it all stitched and maybe even sew the last 4 ornaments to complete the entire set of 12. We’ll see. I am in the middle of canning season so stitching may be a wonderful quiet time project.
That’s it for this update. Thank you Avis for organizing this group. We are all working on individual projects so please visit each one to see who is working on what.
Welcome to my Blog! My world is my husband and son (soon to be moving into his own home) and my step-children (fully grown) and our two cats who are definitely ying and yang. My day job is as Deputy Clerk of my home town in Western, NY but when I get home I have two side gigs, one as a professional private baker, and two, as an Etsy shop owner selling vintage and antique dishes and accessories. I have been gardening and growing my own food since my grandfather taught me at the ripe old age of 5. I stitch, I bake, I grow food, I can and preserve, I grocery shop to save money and eat well and boy do I have massive to-do lists. I hope you enjoy my day to day writings.

The Heirloom Bride is beautiful. I look forward to seeing the full teapot and cup.
So sweet, the backstitch really brings her to life. Are you excited to be on your last ornament? I sensed last update, that you were getting a bit bored with these. That happens to me too. 😛

The backstitching sure does, doesn’t it?! Yes I am ready to move on to something else. Probably something Halloweeny. 😉
