It’s been a while since I last updated but boy has the garden grown!
Here are a few shots I took this last week:
I also dug up 2 of the raised bed frames and made one large bed that I sectioned into 4 with pallets. I planted buttercup squash, carving pumpkin, pie pumpkins and cucumbers in this area. I really like it! What do you think?
I have already picked close to 100 lbs of produce so far this year. My goal is 1000 lbs so I am definitely on track, especially with potatoes and pumpkins and tomatoes coming on.
How is your garden growing? Are you keeping track of the weight of your harvests?
Next update Monday July 19th. See you then! -MM
That looks simply amazing! Your vine retreat area is a great solution to those crazy things, lots of climbing opportunities for them. I am jealous of your cherries, how do you keep them safe from the birds? I have just begun to pick beets and of course lettuce. I have gotten one meal’s worth of peas, which is actually a huge improvement from most years, but that’s pretty much it so far. Parsnips soon, I hope.
