Cakes and Other Goodies I Have Done so Far This Year

I can’t believe I haven’t shared a cake update yet this year! To be honest though I haven’t done as many as last year because of my mom’s brain hemorrhage.

Here are some cakes and such I had fun doing:

Valentine Goodies
Shower Cakes
Easter Goodness
Loved This Border!
My favorite for a guy’s cake
Really enjoyed creating this one
500 cookies for Caledonia’s Memorial Day 250 celebration
Shower tea desserts
End of year Elementary School retirement desserts Banana Cream Bars
Chocolate Cream Bars
Frosted Brownies
Wedding Cupcakes
Two Tiered Wedding
Graduation Mini Cupcakes
LeRoy Class of 1966
80th Birthday Celebration
Wedding Day Breakfast
Wedding Day Grazing Table
Wedding Cakes
After Wedding Honeymoon suite cake
Cutting Cake
Engagement Cake
Happy 50th!
Believe it or not this was for a 10 year old!

My favorite this time was the fish cake lol!

The one that gave me the most issue was the two-tiered wedding cake. It was hotter than hockey sticks that day and I just couldn’t get a smooth finish on it plus I was rushing!

Phew that was a lot, and I didn’t even take photos of all of them! I’ll update again soon 🙂 -MM

Welcome to my Blog! My world is my husband and son (soon to be moving into his own home) and my step-children (fully grown) and our two cats who are definitely ying and yang. My day job is as Deputy Clerk of my home town in Western, NY but when I get home I have two side gigs, one as a professional private baker, and two, as an Etsy shop owner selling vintage and antique dishes and accessories. I have been gardening and growing my own food since my grandfather taught me at the ripe old age of 5. I stitch, I bake, I grow food, I can and preserve, I grocery shop to save money and eat well and boy do I have massive to-do lists. I hope you enjoy my day to day writings.

  1. those cake photos were a real feast for the eyes! I think my favourites were the nursery school cakes with ladybirds and flowers . . . and maybe the Highland cow cookies ^^

    1. Thank you Claire! The highland cows took a bit to get the hang of at first but in the end they were very cute. I have been doing the nursery school cakes for years and every year I try to outdo what I did the year before lol.

  2. I am in love with everything you made although I have to agree with Claire and add in the mint green cup cakes with the bit of sprinkles. You are a master award winner baker for sure!!!!!
